My name is Dennis Glisson, Photographer of Glisson Imaging PDX.
I began shooting years ago while traveling for business and immediately became addicted. Since that time, it has transitioned from a hobby to a serious passion. While I was transitioning from snapshots to art, my interests expanded.
My primary interest was capturing the feel and local views of various locations I ended up in. Due to time, I was not able to stage or pre-plan shots like being at a specific spot and time for a sunset. What I got from this was to use my camera to capture moments naturally as they occurred.
I maintained this style of shooting and have developed a true love for capturing the flow. I gravitate towards events, theatre, shows, and dance. Staged shots include this element as well. Location and lighting are controlled but the flow and positioning will be subject to personality.
Yesterday, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iphone and tested to see if it can survive a twenty five foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My apple ipad is now destroyed and she has 83 views. I know this is totally off topic but I had to share it with someone!

I seldom leave remarks, but i did a few searching and wound up here blog topic. And I actually do have 2 questions for you if it's allright. Is it only me or does it look like some of the remarks appear like they are coming from brain dead folks? :-P And, if you are writing at additional online sites, I'd like to keep up with anything new you have to post. Would you make a list of the complete urls of all your social sites like your twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?

I drop a leave a response each time I especially enjoy a post on a site or I have something to contribute to the discussion. Usually it is caused by the passion communicated in the post I looked at. And after this post blog topic. I was actually moved enough to drop a thought ;) I actually do have 2 questions for you if you do not mind. Could it be only me or does it appear like a few of the comments appear like coming from brain dead visitors? :-P And, if you are writing at other places, I'd like to keep up with you. Could you make a list every one of your public sites like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?
